Professional Policies and Procedures
To maintain safety and comfort, please familiarize yourself with the following policies and procedures.
Nondiscrimination
I embrace diversity and inclusion. I do not practice, tolerate or condone discrimination, including harassment, based on a person’s status, such as, but not limited to age, race, color religion, sex/gender, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law.
Financial
Clients should always verify service fee(s) before beginning a session.
Deposits and payments are non-refundable and transferable up to 1 year from the date of payment.
I accept cash, local checks from established clients, Venmo, PayPal, and some credit cards.
Post-dating checks is not permitted, and payments will not be held until a later date.
Returned checks need to be paid by the client immediately in cash plus the returned check fee charged by the bank.
Clients presenting checks with insufficient funds must pay cash for all future services.
I do not accept credit cards or traveler’s checks, nor do I handle insurance claims.
I will dismiss the client for non-payment of incurred fees.
Clients and Students who miss an appointment or class, regularly cancel less than 48 hours before their appointment/class or cancel more than two consecutive times without sufficient notice may be billed for the entire service and be required to pre-pay to be rescheduled.
Late arrival at an appointment incurs the full fee for that scheduled appointment. I will render a time-decreased service to fit into the remaining scheduled appointment time slot.
Last-minute changes to a significantly lesser-cost service may be charged the full amount of the service originally scheduled.
