Animal Energy Healing
Energy healing initiates a relaxation response that supports the body in healing itself. I believe that regardless of the technique used, all Energy Healing comes from One Source.
Common healing issues that can be disruptive to animals' and caretakers' relationships include disharmony, unfulfilled purpose, loneliness, grief, confusion, illness, empathy, compassion fatigue, end-of-life, spirit attachments, post-traumatic stress disorder, behavioral problems, and chakra and aura problems.
I can also work with animals before surgeries, be present when they are coming out of the anesthetic, or provide post-surgery sessions.
Energy healing techniques do not replace animal behavior training or proper medical care. Permission is required from the caregiver and the animal to share reiki with them.
Reiki
Reiki can provide clarity and discernment and is complementary to other forms of treatment or care.
Reiki is a simple, gentle energy technique for stress reduction and relaxation. The animal's body can heal itself, so relaxation is often beneficial. However, long-term imbalances in the body sometimes require multiple sessions to facilitate the level of relaxation that is needed by the animal.
Reiki relies on an open mind, an open heart, and an open path where energy may flow unfettered.
Animal and Caregiver Combined Sessions
The animal may join a person's session and be present in the room, or the session may become a joint session for both the caregiver and the animal. For example, the animal may want to lie in the room, lie on top of the person, or a combination.
