CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) CREDIT

The Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE) is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved Provider. This Intensive is worth 25 CE hours of credit through NCBTMB.  

• The 25 Hours of Credit for this seminar are the first steps toward becoming a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist (CRTS) through the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB).

• Completing this seminar is also the first and basic set of requirements for becoming a Certified CARE Instructor (CCI), should you wish to pursue a teaching career with CARE.

• CRTS’s and CCI’s are listed on the CARE website in the Directory of Approved CARE Raindrop Facilitators (ACRF) which is arranged geographically and to which people refer when seeking a Raindrop Facilitator in their area.

INTENSIVE SCHEDULE

Our timing is flexible and can adjust to student needs with agreement from the entire class.  Depending on weather conditions, we may hold a class outside.

PREREQUISITES

• CARE Applied Vita Flex is required before taking Raindrop.

• Raindrop and Chemistry are each taught in two separate sessions. You must attend both sessions to receive a certificate of completion.

• There are no pre-requisites for History of Anointing or  Emotional Release.

INCLUDED MATERIALS 

Class notes, necessary oils, and certificate(s) acknowledging your participation in the courses taken are included in seminar fees. History of Anointing includes a certificate only when taken through an Intensive registration. Intensives also include a CCI Handbook. 

Text books will be available for use during class. 

Previous students taking the classes for half-price receive no certificates and no continuing education credits unless they request a certificate and pay an additional fee above the half-price fee.

LIMITATIONS OF CLASS SIZE

Registrations for Raindrop and Vita Flex are limited to keep class sizes small for better hands-on attention and training. In this intensive, the number of participants for Raindrop and Vita Flex may be limited to the first 10 people who register and pay, with preference given to those who register for the whole 25-hour Intensive. Register early to assure yourself a place.

History of Anointing, Chemistry, and Emotional Release classes are demonstration/lecture with no limitations on class size beyond the seating capacity of the room. They are all open to the public.

SUPPLIES TO BRING

Once you are fully registered, I will send you a Course Syllabus with further details.

Bring 1 bottle of Valor Essential Oil Blend, two (2) sheets, two (2) bath towels, one (1) pillowcase, and one (1) hand towel for Raindrop. If you are willing to bring a massage table, please mention this when you register. 

You are encouraged also to bring a Bible for the History of Anointing class. 

PREPARATION

Your fingernails must be very short and filed smooth on the edges and corners. Clippers and files will be available in class. You will not be able to do all the Vita Flex and Raindrop techniques with long fingernails. If you cannot perform all the techniques taught in class because of long nails, you may not receive credit for the class.

CARE DVDs on Vita Flex and Raindrop are available to purchase so that you can review them ahead of class in preparation for the hands-on training. 

While you are not required to purchase texts used during CARE classes, it is helpful to have your own copies of the following books. They will be available for purchase at the Intensive.

3. Heal Your Body by Louise Hay

4. Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils by Carolyn Mein 

NEXT STEPS: CARE MENTORING

Becoming a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist (CRTS) or a Certified CARE Instructor (CCI) is a major accomplishment and a major investment of time, effort, and money. To complete your journey to become a CRTS or CCI you are encouraged to engage a CARE mentor to guide and advise you through the certification requirements. 

Investing in a mentoring relationship early on is good insurance for success.  As your mentor, I'm on your side and I want you to succeed.  I'll be there to check on you, teach you, coach you, encourage you, and support you to ensure that you pass the requirements with excellence and reach your CARE goals.
