Do you often feel sluggish and find yourself frequently under the weather? Many people struggle with accumulated toxins that can drain their energy and compromise their health. The Raindrop Technique is designed to help your body reduce these toxins, so you can regain your vitality and feel your best again.
This unique technique may support your body in a variety of ways, including:
Reducing pain and easing stress
Improving circulation and shielding from germs
Boosting immune function and improving focus and concentration
The Raindrop Technique is a powerful sequence of anointing with essential oils and gentle laying on of hands. It aims to bring structural and electrical alignment to the body in a way that is both relaxing and invigorating. While there are various versions of the technique, the same traditional oils are typically applied, often dropped neat (undiluted) onto the back from a height of about six inches, mimicking the gentle patter of raindrops.
This "raindrop" application is thought to allow the oils, which are believed to possess electromagnetic properties, to interact with your body's electromagnetic field before being absorbed through the skin. Many of the traditional Raindrop oils are rich in phenolic content, which are thought to help ward off viruses and bacteria and cleanse cellular receptor sites for improved cellular communication and overall bodily function. Some oils also contain monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes, believed to assist in reprogramming correct information in cellular memory to support physical and emotional wellness.
We can use Traditional Raindrop Oils, Ancient Oils, or a Specialty Blend for your session.
We believe that the challenges of the body and mind often exist in layers. During a Raindrop session, you may find yourself releasing layers of both physical and emotional burdens that you are ready and willing to let go of. Sometimes, negative experiences can be our greatest teachers, and we hold onto them until we've learned what we need to. Both the facilitator and client are encouraged to approach the Raindrop Technique with an attitude of prayer, acknowledging a higher power as the source of all health and well-being and seeking guidance throughout the process. Our intention is to lovingly and willingly release whatever no longer serves you in a positive and progressive way.
A typical Raindrop Technique appointment lasts 60-90 minutes, including a brief preparatory conversation.
Before your session:
Please wear comfortable clothes.
If you tend to get cold, a zipper-hoodie or button-down shirt worn backward can keep your arms warm while allowing access to your back.
It's a good idea to start drinking plenty of purified water before your session. A general guideline is to divide your weight in pounds by two and drink that number of ounces daily.
During your session:
I will apply essential oils to your bare shoulders, then your bare feet, and finally your bare back (from coccyx to atlas).
After your session:
You may experience detox symptoms such as tiredness that night or the next day. This is a normal part of the cleansing process, so continue to drink plenty of water to aid detoxification.
Many of my clients report feeling very relaxed for the rest of the day and often experience a great night's sleep.
The Raindrop Technique has a high rate of client satisfaction. According to A Statistical Validation of Raindrop Technique by David Steward, Ph.D., RA, the reported percentages of responses were:
Positive: 97%
Pleasant: 98%
Resulted in a Healing: 16%
Felt better afterwards: 98%
State of health improved: 89%
Emotional state improved: 86%
Would receive it again: 99.9%
While generally well-tolerated, some individuals have reported mild, temporary side effects when undiluted oils were applied, including a burning sensation on the skin, skin rashes, nausea, headaches, and tiredness. It's important to note that among thousands of sessions reviewed in the report, no severe negative experiences or allergic reactions were discovered.

Young Living Essential Oils - Chakra Harmony Oils used in the Raindrop Session
Chakras are energy centers found along the midline of the body, extending through the torso both in the front and back. The 1st chakra, or root, is located around the tailbone and the 7th chakra, or crown, at the top of the head, with the rest in between.
