Reiki Session

Reiki is a meditative practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety, and fosters a positive mental state through gentle touch. At its core, "Rei" means Universal or Life and "Ki" means energy, giving us the definition: Universal Life Energy.


This gentle Japanese technique is renowned for stress reduction and deep relaxation, and it may also promote profound healing. Administered through light touch or hands hovering just above the body, Reiki is based on the idea that a vital life force energy flows through each of us. The primary goal is to relieve accumulated stress and balance your energy centers, which is essential for achieving wellness of mind, body, and spirit. Importantly, Reiki works in harmony with all other types of treatments and therapies.


It's vital to understand that your own mind, body, and spirit facilitate the healing. The practitioner simply acts as a conduit, facilitating the transfer of this Universal Life Energy to you. This energy is in infinite supply—it never runs out.

What to Expect During a Session

A Reiki session often feels like a wonderful, glowing radiance, offering numerous benefits for both the client and practitioner, including positive states of consciousness and spiritual experiences. Reiki thrives on an open mind, an open heart, and an open path where energy can flow unfettered.


Appointments typically last 30-60 minutes, depending on the specific service, plus a brief preparation conversation. Please wear comfortable clothes to your appointment. It's also highly recommended to drink plenty of purified water before and after your session. A good guideline is to consume half your body weight in ounces of purified water daily.


Sometimes the experience of energy work is dramatic, with immediate and noticeable shifts. For others, the first session may feel more subtle or even uneventful during the experience itself, yet they report feeling significantly better or more relaxed afterwards.
